Roots + Leaves Herbal

Gentle herbal first-aid, safety, and culturally rooted care practices—grounded in Black & BIPOC traditions and everyday life. Educational only; not medical advice. Always consult a clinician for personal care questions.

You’ll learn:

  • How to make simple teas, infusions, and oils (nettles, ginger, rosemary, chamomile).
  • When herbs help—and when they don’t (contraindications, meds, pregnancy/lactation).
  • Basics of sourcing, dosage, and storage on a budget.
  • Body signals & red flags: when to rest, call the nurse/clinic, or seek urgent care.
  • Ways to honor ritual (steam, blessing, food-as-care) without appropriation.

You’ll leave with:

  • A quick-start herbal safety      card + red-flag checklist.
  • Infusion & oil recipes you can repeat at home.
  • A 7-day care menu (rest, fluids, warming foods).
  • A mini resource list of  trusted books, herb suppliers, and community clinics.

Format: 2 hours · virtual or in-person
